SPDSS Science Fair 2023 – Elementary will be held in March 2023. The registration for students begins November 25th 2023. The science fair will be in person and the location and venue and exact dates will be finalized and shared.

One of us… One of us…

The Lakeland Regional Science Fair is only 66 days away (as of February 7th); the Canada-Wide Science Fair 108 days away. For the past two weeks I’ve been talking about how to come up with potential topics for the science fair, hoping you would find an idea that really gets you excited. A post for the parents

Simply put: Not all kids have parents with equal amounts of free time to spend helping their child with a science fair project. Even if a parent does, getting elbow-deep in baking soda and vinegar volcanoes or dragging a kid through the marathon lead-up to a science fair might not be their idea of a good time.
